School Year Theme PDF Print E-mail

The theme of the 2016-2017 School Year is the same as the theme that was chosen for the building effort at Luther.  The theme comes from Nehemiah 2:18 and is the response of the people to Nehemiah’s encouragements to rebuild the walls of his beloved city of Jerusalem.  The focus of RISE UP and BUILD is so much more than just erecting walls.  Building God’s kingdom is why Luther High School exists.  Our prayer for this school year is that God will again bless our students, families and staff through the hearing of his Word.  As we focus our attention on Jesus our Savior, we trust that God will strengthen our faith in him and raise us up to serve him and each other.
