The Luther Light for May is senior Rylie Wetzel. Rylie is the daughter of Dean and Nancy Wetzel from Barre Mills, WI. She attended St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran School in Onalaska before coming to Luther High School.

Nine students from Luther High's Pro-Life Knights attended the Wisconsin Right to Life Legislative Conference in Madison.  The group became familiar with 5 bills of legislation that will be brought to the floor in the near future and were also taught the meaningful & appropriate procedures for lobbying their legislators.  The purpose of Pro-Life Knights is to educate and inform students what God's Word says about all life issues so that the well-informed students will be able to speak boldly and confidently to others.

Luther High Students can now get help right at school from trained Christian counselors through the new Wisconsin Lutheran Child & Family Service (WLCFS) assistance program.  The professionals that work for WLCFS Christian Family Counseling are licensed by the State of Wisconsin and have advanced training, certification and experience in various areas of specialty.  This counseling service will be available via distance modalities (telephone or video-assisted).  The WLCFS counselors are Distanced Counseling Credentialed.  Please speak to Pastor Bilitz 608-783-5435 x310 or Mr. Wichmann 608-783-5435 x100 if you would like to take advantage of this helpful service.
